ABOUT JOHN STANLEY
American author and cartoonist who is known for writing the comic book Little Lulu from 1945 until 1959.
He received a scholarship to take art classes at Textile High School in Manhattan and later began working as an opaquer at Max Fleischer's studio.
He was inducted into the Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame in 2004.
He grew up with one older sister, two younger brothers, and one younger sister.
His writing has been compared to Roald Dahl 's writing.
