Play-by-play announcer for the New York Yankees.

He attended three different universities, never finishing and instead pursuing a career in radio.

He started out his career working as the play-by-play announcer for the NBA's Baltimore Bullets.

He had four children with his first wife Jennifer before they divorced.

He became known for reciting the lyrics to Harry Belafonte 's "Zombie Jamboree" after back-to-back home runs, saying "its a back to back!...and a belly to belly!"
