ABOUT JOHN STEVEN WOOLEY
An American non-fiction writer, novelist, comic book author, and screenwriter, he is known for works such as Voices From the Hill: The Story of Oklahoma Military Academy (2005); Uncanny Man-Frog (1987); and Ghost Band (2006). As a journalist, he wrote columns for Tulsa World and Fangoria.
His first comic book series, Miracle Squad, was published during the late 1980s. His first novel, Old Fears, was published in 1982.
He was once a member of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame.
He was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Later, he settled in Oklahoma.
Like television actor Pinky Lee , he was raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
