ABOUT JOHNATHAN HILLSTRAND

Captain of the F/V Time Bandit, a crab fishing boat which has gained immense popularity for its appearance in the Discovery channel series Deadliest Catch.

At the age of three he took his first steps on commercial fishing vessels. By seven he was fishing with his father John Sr. and by seventeen he was fishing professionally full time.

When he's not fishing on the Time Bandit, he works with his other family businesses including Time Bandit Fireworks, Time Bandit Spirits, Time Bandit Entertainment, and more.

His brothers Andy and Neal and his son Scott are also fisherman on the F/V Time Bandit and stars of Deadliest Catch.

Both he and Sig Hansen are ship captains on Deadliest Catch.
