Center back who joined Alajuelense in 2010 and became a member of the Costa Rican national team in 2011.
He spent his youth career with Deportivo Saprissa.
He debuted professionally for Santos de Guapiles in 2004.
He was born in Ciudad Quesada, Costa Rica.
He and forward Bryan Ruiz became teammates on the Costa Rican national team.
