ABOUT JOHNNY HARDWICK
American voice actor and producer best known for voicing King of the Hill 's Dale Gribble. He first rose to fame as a stand-up comic with appearances on An Evening at the Improv and The Jon Stewart Show. He was approached to work on King of the Hill after performing a set at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles.
He studied journalism at Texas Tech University .
In 1999, he won a Primetime Emmy for producing King of the Hill. In 2009, he appeared on an episode of Ace of Cakes . He lent his voice to more than 250 episodes of television throughout his career.
He was from Austin, Texas.
He collaborated with Mike Judge and Greg Daniels in the making of King of the Hill.
