ABOUT JOHNNY KLEIN
Drummer known for his work on the Lawrence Welk Show. He performed on the popular television musical variety program from 1955 until 1976.
He attended the University of Missouri, where he earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees in music education.
He served in the United States Army during World War II.
He lived in Torrance, California until his death.
He and Johnny Zell both played in Lawrence Welk's orchestra.
