ABOUT JOHNNY RUFFIN

Right-handed pitcher who made his MLB debut in 1993 with the Cincinnati Reds and played with the team up through 1996.

He attended Choctaw County High School in Alabama.

He made five appearances for the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2000.

He was born and raised in Butler, Alabama.

Hall of Fame shortstop Barry Larkin was his teammate on the Reds.
