ABOUT JOHNNY ZITO
Screenwriter and filmmaker who rose to fame as the mind behind the 2013 horror comedy film Alpha Girls. He then went on to write, direct, and produce the 2016 film American Exorcist.
After graduating from Saint Joseph's Preparatory School in 2000, he went on to earn degrees in film, new media, and theology at Temple University.
His early career was spent in print political cartoons. Not long after, he began writing for comic series such as Black Cherry Bombshells, La Morté Sisters, and Moon Girls.
He was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He cast actor Bill Moseley in his 2016 horror film American Exorcist.
