He graduated from Cornell University and obtained his Masters in teaching from Emory University.

His principles have been utilized by NBA, NFL, and MLB coaches and teams and clients of his include the Los Angeles Clippers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Campbell Soup, Wells Fargo, Northwestern Mutual, Publix, Southwest Airlines and more.

He was born in Long Island, New York. He has two children.

He was associated with Mike Smith when he was the head ball coach for the Atlanta Falcons, another one of his clients.
