ABOUT JON HEYMAN

Sports journalist who is known for his work as an insider for the MLB Network. Specializing in baseball, he is also known for having written for several sports press outlets including FanRag Sports and Today's Knuckleball.

He attended Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in 1983. After graduating, he moved to Southern California where he started his career writing for the Daily Breeze. He then joined the Daily Dispatch in Illinois before covering the New York Yankees for Newsday.

In addition to his written work and television appearances, he is also known for running the WFAN Radio program Baseball Inside in New York.

He was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

He often works with Michael Kay and frequently appears as a guest on his own radio program The Michael Kay Show.
