ABOUT JONATAN CRISTALDO

Striker who has gained acclaim for his club soccer career in South America, including in Argentina's Primera Division for Racing Club beginning in 2018. He previously helped lead Brazilian club Palmerias to victory at the 2015 Copa do Brasil.

He began his soccer career in the youth academy of Vélez Sarsfield between 2004-2006.

He helped lead Palmeiras to the Campeonato Brasileiro A title in 2016. He was also part of the Vélez Sársfield squad that won the 2009 Argentine Primera Division Clausura tournament.

He was originally born and raised in Ingeniero Budge, Argentina. He has twins.

He and Ivan Pillud have played as teammates for Racing Club.
