Professional middle infielder that was signed by the Philadelphia Phillies as an international free agent in August 2014. He was acquired by the Boston Red Sox during the 2019 Rule 5 draft.

He began his professional career playing for the Phillies' rookie affiliate team the GCL Phillies.

He made his major league debut playing against the Baltimore Orioles as a member of the Red Sox on July 24, 2020.

He is a native of Alanje, Panama.

He is a professional switch-hitter just like Víctor Martínez , Lance Berkman and Mickey Mantle .
