ABOUT JONATHAN BATTY

Wicket keeper who played for Surrey from 1994-2009, and for Gloucestershire from 2010-2012.

He attended Repton School, St. Chad's College, Durham University, and Keble College.

Despite his success, he never played internationally, leading many to call him the best uncapped player of his generation.

He was born in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

He started his career as a backup to Alec Stewart .
