ABOUT JONATHAN BRUGH

Professional comedian and actor most recognized for his role as Deacon in the FX comedy series What We Do in the Shadows . He is also known for his appearances in 800 Words , Educators and Mystic. In addition to acting in the comedy series Educators, he also received credit as a writer during the show's first season.

He began his acting career during the 1990s. He made his official acting debut in 1998 on the show Tamatoa the Brave Warrior.

In 2012, he briefly stopped acting to pursue a career in music. He was a band member for The Fagan Band from 2012 until 2014. While in the group, he played the bass guitar.

He is from Wellington, New Zealand.

He acted alongside Macey Chipping and Jacqueline Joe in the 2020 show Mystic.
