He published his first book in 2006, titled Behind The Curtain: Travels in Eastern European Football.
He has played cricket with the Authors XI team, a club founded in 1892 by writers who play cricket.
He has lived in Wandsworth, a quaint village of South London.
He is a contemporary of other British authors such as J.K. Rowling and Michael Rosen .
