ABOUT JONQUEL JONES

Professional power forward that was drafted by the Los Angeles Sparks as a first round pick in 2016. She later began playing for the Connecticut Sun and the New York Liberty. She has also played professionally in Turkey, Russia, China and South Korea.

She originally began her collegiate career playing basketball at Clemson University . After two seasons, she transferred to George Washington University .

Following her 2021 WNBA season, she was named to the All-WNBA First Team. She was also named the WNBA MVP that season. She was featured in the documentary Shattered Glass: A WNBPA Story.

Although she was born in the Bahamas, she grew up living in Maryland. She now lives with her girlfriend and their pet dog.

She appeared in Shattered Glass: A WNBPA Story alongside Nneka Ogwumike , Breanna Stewart and Sheryl Swoopes .
