BBC personality and founder/keyboardist of British pop band Squeeze.
He was a session musician who contributed to Wayne County & the Electric Chairs' F*ck Off from 1976.
He hosted Later...with Jools Holland on BBC2, Jools Holland on BBC Radio 2, and Hootenanny on an annual basis.
He married Christabel McEwan on August 30, 2005, after a 15-year courtship.
His work allowed him to collaborate with various artists such as Eric Clapton , Sting , George Harrison , and Bono .
