ABOUT JORGE BERMUDEZ

Former professional football player and sports journalist who is best recognized for his football coverage for ESPN. He is known for having played professionally as a defender for the Colombian national team.

He started his career as a football player in 1989 when he joined the Deportes Quindio club. He then made his debut on the Colombian national team in 1995. In 2007, he transitioned to a career as a team manager for the Depor Jamundi club.

He is also known for having scored two goals at the 1998 FIFE World Cup Qualifiers including in matches against Chile and Venezuela.

He shared a photo with his wife through Instagram in June of 2018.
