ABOUT JOSE MARI CHAN

Famous for such hit albums and singles as, respectively, Constant Change (1989) and "Christmas in Our Hearts" (1990), he won a 2005 ABS-CBN Elite Platinum Award and a 2010 Myx Magna Music Award.

Two years after receiving his bachelor's degree in Economics from Ateneo de Manila University, he released his debut album, Deep in My Heart.

A business executive as well as a recording artist, he headed both Signature Music Inc. and the BISCOM, Inc. sugar company.

His marriage to Mary Ann Ansaldo produced five children.

He is a contemporary of fellow Filipino entertainer Tito Sotto .
