ABOUT JOSE A. FERRER

Left-handed pitcher that was first signed by the Washington Nationals as an international prospect in 2018. Following the 2022 regular season, he was named one of the National's top 100 MLB prospects.

He first began his professional career playing for the DSL Nationals rookie affiliate team. He was then promoted after 14 games.

He logged a career-high 65.1 innings during the 2022 minor league season. He also collected a career-high 78 strikeouts during that season.

He grew up living with his family in Maimon, Dominican Republic.

He and Patrick Corbin have been pitchers for the Washington Nationals.
