Portuguese defender who joined the New England Revolution in 2014 after spending three years with FC Sion in the Swiss League.
He began his professional career with Swiss team FC Basel in 2002.
He played on the Portugal U21 team from 2006 to 2007.
His brother Arthur Goncalves also became a professional soccer player.
He joined AJ Soares on the New England Revolution in 2013.
