ABOUT JOSE LEONIDAS CRUZ
Right-handed reliever that was first signed by the San Francisco Giants as an international free agent in July 2017. He was named one of the Giants' top 100 MLB prospects in 2022.
He initially began his professional career playing for the DSL Giants rookie affiliate team. He was only a teenager at the time of debut.
He recorded a career low 2.06 earned average during the 2022 season. He also allowed an .119 opponent batting average.
He grew up living with his family in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
He and Logan Webb have both pitched for the San Francisco Giants.
