ABOUT JOSEPH ALTUZARRA

French-American fashion designer best known for his role as creative director at the modern luxury brand Altuzarra. He launched his own brand in 2008, after his experiences working for designers like Marc Jacobs and Riccardo Tisci .

He was born and raised in Paris and took ballet as a child. At Swarthmore College , he studied art and art history.

He appeared as a judge in the show Making the Cut, hosted by Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn . His fashion designer fame has resulted in gaining over 130,000 followers on his Instagram account.

His parents' names are Karen Altuzarra and Philippe Altuzarra. He married Seth Weissman in 2014. He shares photos of their children on his Instagram page.

His work has appeared on the Met Gala carpet multiple times including in 2019 when it was worn by Awkwafina , and in 2023 worn by Ariana DeBose .
