Actor who starred in the soap operas, Guiding Light and Days of Our Lives.

He become one of the youngest skippers from the wartime navy at age sixteen.

He was also in the series, The Eleventh Hour, Gunsmoke, and The Golden Girls.

He married Kathryn Jill Bartholomew in 1964.

He played a leading role in the sitcom, Golden Girls with Betty White .
