ABOUT JOSEPH LYNCH
Right-handed batsman who made two international appearances for Ireland in 1909.
He was a talented all around youth athlete.
After his cricket days he captained the 10th West Yorkshire Regiment in World War I, where he was killed during battle.
He was born in Monkstown, County Dublin, Ireland.
He is from the same area as fellow athlete Ken Oman .
