He formed Pulse Recording in 2004 when he purchased what was once Soundcastle Recording Studios. He has gained over 9,000 followers on her joshabraham Instagram account where he shares news updates about his music career.

He is a self-taught musician, producer, mixer, and engineer who began working in recording studios in the 1990s.

The first major album he had a hand in producing was Deadsy's self-titled debut album in 1997. His company hired talent that wrote hits like "Teenage Dream," "California Gurls," and "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" by Katy Perry .

He spent New Year's Eve in 2024 with his wife, Gina Abraham.

He has recorded music in the same building as musicians such as Bruce Springsteen and Tupac Shakur .
