ABOUT JOSH HOLLIDAY

Baseball coach who took over as the head coach of the Oklahoma State Cowboys in 2013 after serving as an assistant at schools like Arizona State and Vanderbilt. In 2014, He led Oklahoma State to the conference regular season championship and was named the Big 12 Conference Baseball Coach of the Year.

He was drafted by the Minnesota Twins out of high school in 1995 but elected to attend Oklahoma State instead. He spent several years in the minor leagues before beginning his coaching career in 2001.

He was a recruiting coordinator at Vanderbilt and assembled a roster which set an SEC record for wins with 26 in 2013.

He has been married and has children. His brother is All-Star MLB outfielder Matt Holliday . His father Tom Holliday also coached at OSU.

He and Dave Van Horn are both winners of the Big 12 Conference Baseball Coach of the Year Award.
