ABOUT JOSH ROSS
Sprinter who became known as one of the fastest Australians ever, winning multiple Australian 100-meter titles and setting a national record in the event with a time of 10.08 seconds. He received the Deadly Award for Male Sportsperson of the Year in 2004.
He moved to Central Coast in New South Wales at age seven and earned his first Australian long jump title at age ten.
He became just the third athlete to win the Stawell Gift race more than once.
His father Marvin is an Indigenous Australian. He has a sister named Melanie.
He and Cathy Freeman are both famous Australian sprinters.
