ABOUT JOSH STAUMON

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Kansas City Royals during the second round of the 2015 MLB Draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended Azusa Pacific University , where he tied for sixth among all NCAA Division II pitchers in his senior year.

He began his professional career playing for the Royals' rookie affiliate team the AZL Royals.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Cleveland Indians on July 25, 2019.

He is a native of La Habra Heights, California.

He played alongside Ervin Santana during the 2021 MLB season.
