ABOUT JOSH WILSON-ESBRAND

Professional left-back, soccer player, and athlete that originally began his club soccer career with Manchester City in the year 2021. He was later acquired by the Cardiff City Football Club via loan transfer in February of 2024.

As a kid, he played within the West Ham United F.C. youth ranks. He eventually joined Manchester City in 2019.

He made his official club debut as a professional while playing against Derby County on September 12, 2020. His debut match ended in a 3-3 draw. He also plays the position of left midfielder. He stands five feet, nine inches tall.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Hackney, England. He is of Jamaican descent.

He primarily plays the position of left-back just like João Cancelo and Jordi Alba .
