ABOUT JOSH WINCKOWSKI

Right-handed starting pitcher that was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays during the 15th round of the 2016 Major League Draft. He was later traded to the Boston Red Sox in February 2021. Prior to being drafted, he attended Estero High School in Estero, Florida.

He initially began his professional career playing for the GCL Blue Jays rookie affiliate team. He pitched in five games before being promoted.

He made his official major league debut pitching against the Baltimore Orioles on May 28, 2022 as a member of the Red Sox. He pitched three innings and recorded four strikeouts.

He is a native of Toledo, Ohio. His girlfriend's name is Rhea.

He recorded his first MLB strikeout facing Rougned Odor .
