ABOUT JOSHUA LESTER

Professional infielder that was drafted by the Detroit Tigers during the 13th round of the 2015 Major League Draft. Prior to Detroit, he played college baseball at the University of Missouri from 2013 until 2015.

He began his professional career playing for the GCL Tigers rookie affiliate team. He was later promoted to the Connecticut Tigers.

He made his official major league debut playing against the Los Angeles Angels on September 5, 2022. He struck out in his only plate appearance.

He grew up living with his family in Columbus, Georgia. His mother's name is Shelley.

He played alongside Miguel Cabrera as a member of Tigers during the 2022 regular season.
