ABOUT JOSIE LONG
British comedian who won the 2006 Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for her show Kindness and Exuberance. She has 10,000 followers on Facebook, 130,000 on Twitter, and 30,000 on Instagram.
She got into stand-up comedy at 14, and won the BBC New Comedy Awards at 17. She gave up stand-up for a few years while attending Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford. She ran experimental comedy clubs while in school. She graduated with a degree in English.
She learned she has ADHD from a friend's cartoons on Instagram. She is a cofounder of the education charity Arts Emergency.
She has two children with fellow comedian Jonny Donahue.
She went to Lady Margaret Hall at Oxford, as did Nigella Lawson , Samuel West , and Michael Gove .
