ABOUT JP KENNEDY
Professional musician who was best known as the former lead guitar player and lead vocalist in the reggae band The Green .
With an interest in music at a young age, he began playing with the band in 2009. Their debut album was released in February of the following year.
The band's second studio album together was titled Ways & Means and spent four weeks at the number 1 spot on Billboard's Reggae Chart. It also won Best Reggae Album at Hawaii's 2011 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards.
He was born and raised on the Island of Oʻahu in Hawaii. He married his wife Kristen and together they have a daughter named Harper.
As an artist attached to the Desert Oasis festival in 2017, they are headlining with other artists including Damian Marley , E-40 , and Warren G .
