ABOUT JUAN IGNACIO MARTíNEZ
Spanish soccer coach who has managed numerous teams, such as Alicante, Levante, Shanghai Shenxin, and Zaragoza. As a player, he was a member of Alicante, Vall de Uxó, and Torrevieja, among other teams. He was a left-back during his playing career.
He spent his youth soccer career with Alicante and Elche.
He ended his playing career at the age of 26. He has worked as a personal assistant to soccer coach Xu Genbao. He led FC Cartagena to the first division three position in the 2005-06 season.
Soccer coach José Bordalás is his cousin.
