ABOUT JUAN DANIEL GARCIA TREVIñO
Mexican singer, actor, model, and dancer known for his work in the films Ya no estoy aquí, Lost in the Night, Adolfo, and La Civil, and in the HBO Max series VGLY.
He began performing music and singing when he was nine years old. He began singing with the music group Fuerza Cumbiambera. He dropped out of school in the fifth grade and took on various jobs including construction and welding. His breakout was transitioning from singing to acting by appearing in the film Ya no estoy aquí in 2019.
He received the Ariel Award for Best Breakthrough Performance in 2020. He has appeared in Mexican editions of Elle and GQ as a model. He has released music as Juan Daniél and is known for the song "Yo Volaré."
He is a father.
He appeared in eight episodes of VGLY alongside Benny Emmanuel in 2023.
