Celebrity makeup artist who does makeup for Indonesian A-listers such as Ririn Ekawati , Nadia Purwoko and Ashanty . In 2018 he published his autobiography 'Sleeping Beauty: The Story of Bennu Sorumba'. He has 1 million followers on Instagram.
He moved to Jakarta when he was 17 years old with no money, and aspirations to become an actor. He managed to get in contact with Key Mangunsong, a director at the TV station Indosiar, and begged him for a role on one of his shows - he was given an assistant makeup artist job instead.
The proceeds of his autobiography will go toward makeup training programs at nationwide women's prisons.
His book is dedicated to his mother, whom he is very close with and supports financially.
He made up Kahiyang Ayu as a traditional Javanese bride for his autobiography. She attended the launch of his book.
