She first met Michael in 1984 in a Chicago restaurant. They married in 1989 in Las Vegas.

She is a former model and former executive secretary.

She was the first wife of Michael Jordan. They divorced in 2006 after 17 years. They had three children together named Jeffrey , Marcus and Jasmine .

She and Michael co-founded the Michael and Juanita Jordan Endowment Fund.
