ABOUT JUDY BENTINCK

Fashion designer known chiefly for her work as a milliner, or designer of hats.

She earned her B.A. in Printed Textiles from Liverpool College of Art.

She has taught classes in millinery through Cockpit Art Studios at Central Saint Martins in London.

In 1979, she married Tim Bentinck and had two sons: William and Jasper.

She and designer Mary Quant were both known especially for their hat designs.
