ABOUT JULIA BUSUTTIL NISHIMURA
Cook and best-selling author who rose to fame after the release of her 2017 cookbook Ostro: Simple, Generous Food for Living and Sharing. She is also the author of Around the Table and A Year of Simple Family Food. She has worked as a columnist for Good Weekend Magazine, ABC Everyday, and The Design Files.
She started contributing to The Design Files in 2014.
Her cooking is strongly influenced by her time living in Italy. She shares recipes on her juliaostro Instagram account, where she has gained upwards of 130,000 followers.
She and her husband Nori have two children, Yuki and Haruki.
Her book Ostro was praised by food writer Nigella Lawson .
