ABOUT JULIAN OKWARA

Defensive end who made his NFL debut with the Detroit Lions in September 2020. He was taken by the team in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. In college he played for University of Notre Dame .

He played high school football as a top flight recruit for Ardrey Kell High School in North Carolina. He made his debut for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish as a true freshman in 2016.

He was named a team captain for Notre Dame's 2019 team. He led the Fighting Irish in sacks during his 2018 junior campaign.

His brother Romeo also played for the Detroit Lions.

He caught passes from quarterback Matthew Stafford while playing for the Detroit Lions.
