ABOUT JULIE DE LIBRAN

French fashion designer and creator of her eponymous women's couture collection, Julie de Libran. She's served as the artistic director for Sonia Rykiel. She's also worked for leading fashion houses such as Versace, Prada and Louis Vuitton.

She studied fashion design and pattern making at the Istituto Artistico dell'Abbigliamento Marangoni.

She worked at Louis Vuitton as Marc Jacob's right-hand woman for six years.

She was born in Aix-en-Provence, France, but moved to the U.S. when she was eight.

Her favorite style icon is Francoise Hardy .
