ABOUT JULIO BAGHY
A Hungarian poet and author of the Esperanto movement, he is also known for his work as an actor. His most famous literary works include Victims and On Bloody Soil.
He was held in a Siberian prison during World War I. The experience inspired many of his most famous literary works.
His first poetry collection, Preter la Vivo (Beyond Life), is considered his most important work.
His father was an actor, and his mother was an off-stage prompter.
He and Hungarian astronaut Bertalan Farkas both learned the Esperanto language, which is an invented, international, politically neutral tongue.
