ABOUT JUNIOR CAMINERO

Professional third baseman and corner infielder who was initially signed by the Cleveland Guardians as an international free agent in 2019. Just two years later, he was then traded to the Tampa Bay Rays in November 2021. In 2023, he was named the Tampa Rays top minor prospect.

He first began his minor league baseball career with the DSL Indians. He was later sent to the Charleston RiverDogs.

He credits Alex Rodriguez for being one of his biggest baseball influences while coming up. He's also a huge fan of Manny Machado .

Growing up, he lived with his parents and his siblings in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He actually has a brother who was named after Joe Girardi .

He collected his first MLB hit while facing Yusei Kikuchi .
