ABOUT JUSTIN ANTHONY LAWRENCE
Right-handed relief pitcher that was drafted by the Colorado Rockies during the 12th round of the 2015 Major League Draft. He was drafted out of Daytona State Community College. Prior to Daytona State CC, he played college baseball at Jacksonville University.
He initially began his professional career playing for the Boise Hawks. He was later sent to the Grand Junction Rockies.
He made his official major league debut pitching against the Arizona Diamondbacks on April 29, 2021. He pitched one inning and recorded one strikeout.
He grew up living with his family in the Jacksonville, Florida area. He married Taylor Lawrence in December 2020.
He collected his first MLB strikeout facing Eduardo Escobar .
