Famous for transforming himself into "The Human Ken Doll," he went under the knife close to two hundred times to achieve his desired plastic look.

He had his first cosmetic surgery, a rhinoplasty, when he was eighteen years old.

While attending Apex High School in North Carolina, he was heavily involved in the arts.

Born to a family of Slovak heritage, he spent his early years in New York and North Carolina. He and his husband later settled in Chicago, Illinois.

His female counterpart, Valeria Lukyanova of Ukraine, rose to fame as a "real-life Barbie."
