She had her first acting role at age 11 in Catherine's Grove in 1997.
She co-starred in the 2012 film Scavengers.
She married actor Jordi Vilasuso in August 2012. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Riley, on November 26, 2012 and their second daughter, Everly, was born on July 15, 2016. She welcomed her third daughter, Lucy, in December 2023.
She played the teen version of Charlize Theron 's character in the 2003 film Monster.
