Model and social media star who has earned more than 130,000 followers on Instagram for her relationship with professional surfer Kelly Slater .

She grew up surfing and much of her youth was spent modeling and painting. She eventually went on to complete a degree in communications at the University of California Santa Barbara.

A skilled artist and thriving entrepreneur, she and her sister Oleema run the online swimwear boutique known as MIKOH.

Born in California to Charlene, a Hawaiian, and Jim, a California, she has two sisters named Oleema and Hana and one brother named Jason. She and Kelly Slater began dating in 2008.

She has become friends with a number of popular models, surfers, and bloggers including Nadia Fairfax and Malia Manuel .
