He went to school in Karachi and began working as a model shortly thereafter.

He was once nominated for a Lux Style Award for Best Male Model.

He married actress Fatima Effendi and has a son named Almir.

He co-starred with Danish Taimoor on the series Kaash Main Teri Beti Na Hoti.
